Roger White, New York City
Member Since February 2007
Artist Statement Roger White grew up in south Florida where the light bathes everything in tropical color. Working quickly, and often on the beach, his brushstrokes capture light and shadows on canvas. His current work, done digitally, allows him to paint anywhere. Painting app's allow him to mix colors and work directly onto his phone or iPad, using only his finger as a brush!

White is an established and award winning television motion graphics designer. Having worked for all three major Networks. At NBC he worked on Saturday Night Live and Letterman, moving with Dave to CBS, he designed the Late Show Logo and the iconic Times Square marquee at the Ed Sullivan Theater. Roger has taught motion graphics at New York University's Center for Advanced Digital Applications. Since 2007 he has been an art director at ABC Nightline.
