In 2006 I fell in love with Asia. While in China to photograph a factory I discovered the Li River area. Since then I returned for a month of photographing just for pleasure. These are a few of my favorite images from that month. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did making them. I have since returned to S.E. Asia and love making images of my travels. Photography has enriched my life in many ways. First as a creative outlet, then a hobby and later it became a profession. But more than that it has afforded me the opportunity to meet many people forging life long friendships.The camera gave me the tool to capture and share with others things that moved me emotionally. It also allowed me to document the interesting people and places I’ve visited. I worked in a studio in a small town for over twenty five years. During that time I photographed thousands of people, photographing weddings, anniversaries, births, birthdays, graduations etc. The best thing was that I met them in all of the high lights and joyous times of their lives. What a privilege that has been.
