This is an exploration of the urban environment covering its architecture, spaces, parks, streets, people, traffic and nitty gritty qualities that make it so vibrant and full of life. The spaces between buildings are of particular interest, including traits such as fire escapes, dumpsters, alleys, back doors and the many almost forgotten elements. What is seen is not just the celebrated buildings and attractive streets, but the avoidable and often despised artifacts that makeup a real city. The dramatic view is often taken, yet the subtle nuances of a quiet city are seen as well.
